Muslin cloths are wonderfully versatile and absorbent items, ideal for catching spit-up while feeding, wiping little faces clean and mopping up any other messes your baby may make. They also serve as a handy layer to cover prams and changing mats and can even be used as a lightweight swaddle.

The right number of muslin cloths is really going to depend on how often you use them. If you rely on them regularly for feeding, comfort and hygiene, you can easily get through three or four cloths in a day. Most parents find that 10–12 muslins is about right.

Muslin squares come in a few different sizes, with smaller cloths handy for quick wipes and larger ones better suited to swaddling. Our mid-sized muslin squares are a great all-rounder at 80cm x 80cm, an ideal size for feeding, covering and general use.

Muslin cloths hold up well to repeated washing, often becoming softer and more supple with time. Our muslins are machine washable at 30°C and can be tumble-dryed at low temperatures, helping to keep your rotation fresh.
